Outdoor
- Earned Second Team All-America honors as a true freshman in the javelin, placing 11th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/8) with a throw of 70.61m (231-8)
- Qualified for nationals with a lifetime-best throw of 71.49m (234-6) at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds (5/24), setting the UT freshman record and ranking No. 7 in school history
- Finished 12th at his first SEC Outdoor Championships (5/9) with a mark of 64.79m (212-7)
- Placed fifth in the javelin at the Desert Heat Classic (4/27), tying his then-PB with a throw of 68.59m (225-0)
- Took second in the javelin at the Tennessee Invite (4/5) with a throw of 67.27m (22-08)
- Made collegiate debut at the UCF Black & Gold Invite (3/15) and finished second at the meet with a throw of 68.59m (225-0)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed for Rancocas Valley Regional HS in Mount Holly, New Jersey
- Started throwing javelin his senior year of high school and became a state champion and All-American in the event
- Threw a lifetime-best 204-4 (62.28m) to finish second at the 2023 NJSIAA Meet of Champions
- Competed at the 2023 New Balance Outdoor Nationals and placed fourth with a mark of 194-3 (59.21m) to earn All-America status
- Won the NJSIAA Group 4 javelin state title with a toss of 193-4 (58.93m)
- Also played football and baseball at Mount Holly HS and graduated with a 4.3 GPA
PERSONAL
- Son of Kelli and Kevin Burr
- Committed to the Vols in June 2023 and chose Tennessee because he felt the program could help him reach his potential
- Majoring in psychology
- Favorite musical artists are Tyler Childers, Noah Kahan, Hozier and The Lumineers
- Listens to "Gorgeous" by Kanye West before he throws
