2026 TRACK & FIELD
Outdoor
- Delivered a dominant performance in his outdoor season opener at the Tennessee Invite (4/10-11), earning victories in the pole vault and long jump with outdoor personal-bests in both events
- Leaped 7.82 meters (25-8) to close out the Tennessee Invite (4/11) with a win in the men's long jump
- Cleared an outdoor PR of 5.66 meters (18-6.75) to win the invite section of the men's pole vault at the Tennessee Invite (4/10)
Indoor
- Competed at 10 meets and produced an All-SEC, All-America campaign in his final indoor season with the Vols
- Claimed First Team All-America status in the pole vault with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/13), clearing 5.70 meters (18-8.25)
- Also earned a Second Team All-America certificate in the long jump, finishing 13th with a mark of 7.60 meters (24-11.25) at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/13)
- Scored a team-high 13 points at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/26-28), placing second in the pole vault and fourth in the long jump
- Earned his second career SEC silver medal in the pole vault at the SEC Championships (2/28) with a lifetime-best clearance of 5.73 meters (18-9.5), ranking fourth in school history
- Finished fourth in the long jump final at the SEC Championships (2/26) after jumping 7.84 meters (25-8.75)
- Improved his SEC lead in the pole vault at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2/21) with a mark of 5.69 meters (18-8)
- Cleared a lifetime-best 5.68m (18-7.5) in the pole vault at the Doc Hale Invitational (2/6) that ranked third in Tennessee history
- Finished first in the long jump at the Bob Pollock Invitational (1/30) with a leap of 7.94m (26-0.75)
- Set his long jump PR at the Vanderbilt Invitational (1/16) with a mark of 7.97m (26-1.75) that ranked fourth in UT history
- Won the men's pole vault competition at the Clemson Invite (1/10) with a clearance of 5.30m (17-4.5)
- Opened the indoor season at the Winter Commodore Challenege (12/6), clearing a personal-best height of 5.61m (18-4.75) in the pole vault that tied for third in program history
2025 TRACK & FIELD
Outdoor
- Saw action at eight meets during the 2025 outdoor season and finished the year earning All-America status in the pole vault
- Placed 10th in the pole vault at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/11) with a clearance of 5.43m (17-9.75)
- Won silver at the SEC Outdoor Championships (5/16), placing second in the pole vault with an outdoor personal best of 5.55m (18-2.5)
- Claimed a new personal-best of 5.51m (18-1) and finished first in the men's pole vault at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational (4/25)
- Secured the victory at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational (4/19) in the pole vault with an outdoor personal best of 5.50m (18-0.5)
- Opened the outdoor season placing third in the pole vault with a mark of 5.41m (17-9) at the USF Alumni Invite (3/21)
- Competed at eight meets during his debut indoor season for Tennessee and earned second team All-America honors in the pole vault
- Capped the indoor campaign placing 13th at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/14) with a clearance of 5.46m (17-11)
- Tied for fifth in the pole vault at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/27) with a mark of 5.20m (17-0.75)
- Took third at the Doc Hale VT Meet (2/8) after clearing a height of 5.55m (18-2.5)
- Notched another victory and new pole vault personal-best, jumping 5.60m (18-4.5) at the Razorback Invite (1/31) which ranked No. 3 in UT indoor history
- Claimed his first win of the season in the pole vault at the Orange & Purple Invite (1/24), clearing a height of 5.52m (18-1.25)
- Broke his personal best in the long jump with a leap of 7.76m (25-5.5), placing first at the Vanderbilt Invitational (1/17) and ranking ninth in school history
- Made his Tennessee debut at the McFerrin 12 Degree Invite (1/10) in the pole vault, clearing 5.56m (18-3) which established an early collegiate lead
2024 TRACK & FIELD
- Redshirted the 2024 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons
- Competed unattached at the Indoor Music City Challenge (2/9) and finished first in the pole vault with a mark of 5.00m (16-4.75)
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Competed for two seasons at Ripon (Wis.) College (2022-23) before transferring to Tennessee in the summer of 2023
- Earned USTFCCCA Division III All-America honors in the indoor pole vault, finishing fifth at the 2023 national championship
- Took home USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honors for Division III on May 17, 2023, after scoring a team-high 38.5 points at the Midwest Conference Outdoor Championships
- Posted PRs in the pole vault (5.16m/16-11), high jump (1.92m/6-3.5), long jump (7.63m/25-0.5) and triple jump (13.94m/45-9) at the 2023 MWC Championships
- Secured 2023 MWC Indoor and Outdoor Field Performer of the Year accolades
- Helped lead Ripon College to four conference team titles, sweeping indoor and outdoor Midwest Conference championships in 2022 and 2023
- Nine-time Midwest Conference Athlete of the Week and holds Ripon College school records in the indoor pole vault, outdoor pole vault, 4x100-meter relay and 4x200-meter relay
- Also played defensive back for the Ripon College football team in 2021, seeing action in three games and logging two tackles
HIGH SCHOOL
- Competed for Belleview HS in Belleview, Florida
- Three-sport athlete in high school who also played football and volleyball
PERSONAL
- Son of Beverly and Jason Gray
- Majoring in management
- Joined the Vols in August 2023 and chose Tennessee to be a part of one of the best programs in the country and compete in the most competitive conference in the world
- Avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking and rock climbing
