2020 TRACK & FIELD
Indoor
- Combined with teammates Jada Chambers, Joella Lloyd and Britton Wilson for a time of 3:36.15 in the 4x400m relay at the SEC Championships (2/29), placing eighth overall
- Ran a season-best 53.94 in the 400m prelims for 15th place at the SEC indoor meet (2/28)
- Helped the Lady Vols run a season-best 3:36.71 in the 4x400-meter relay, placing 8th at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/15)
- Finished fourth in the 4x400m relay with a mark of 3:38.73 alongside teammates Wilson, Watson, and Chambers at the Texas Tech Invite (2/1)
- Took seventh place at the Texas Tech Invite with a season-best performance of 53.86 (1/31)
- Posted back-to-back runner-up finishes in the women's 400m at the Tennessee Indiana Duals (1/11) (55.34) and Virginia Tech Invite (1/18) (54.56)
Outdoor
- Completed her degree in Kinesiology in May
- Did not compete, as the 2020 outdoor track & field season was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) global health crisis
2019 TRACK & FIELD
Indoor
- Ran a season-best 400m dash of 54.86 at the SEC Indoor Championships (2/22), good for 28th place
- Timed a mark of 55.25 in the 400m for 13th place at the Carolina Challenge
- Opened her season with a runner-up finish in the 200m dash (25.04) at the Tennessee-Indiana Duals
Outdoor
- Earned Second Team All-America honors after placing ninth in the 4x400m relay at the NCAA Championships with a time of 3:32.88 (6/8)
- At the NCAA East Preliminary round, she was part of the 4x400m relay that took fourth with a time of 3:30.17, punching a ticket to the National Championship. Individually, she also finished 26th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.03 (5/25)
- Finished sixth in the 400m hurdles at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a time of 58.65. She also was part of the 4x400m relay that took ninth with a time of 3:39.28 (5/11)
- At the Tennessee Relays, she placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.08 and was part of the 4x400m relay crew that took second with a time of 3:32.63 (4/13)
- Finished the 400m hurdles in 1:04.27 at the Florida Relays (3/28)
- Ran the anchor leg on the 4x400m relay squad that took second with a time of 3:33.16 in the Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge (3/23)
2018 TRACK & FIELD
Indoor
- Posted her fastest individual time at the SEC Championships, finishing 10th in the 400m (53.65)
- Earned silver at SECs as part of the 4x400m relay team (3:31.48); picked up second-team All-America honors in the event as the squad placed 12th at the NCAA championships (3:33.79)
- Ran a then career-best 54.34 to place ninth in the 400m at Clemson's Tiger Paw Invite (2/9)
- Running in the 600m for the first time at Clemson's Bob Pollock Invitational (1/27), placed fifth with a time of 1:34.24
- Placed fourth in the 400m at the UAB Vulcan Invite (1/13), clocking 55.49
- Took third place in the 400m at the Indiana-Tennessee Dual (1/6) with a time of 55.73
- Made season debut at the Hoosier Open (12/8), placing eighth in the 500m with a time of 1:13.65
Outdoor
- Competed in the 400m Hurdles at the SEC Outdoor Championships (5/11), placing 13th with a time of 1:04.26
- Produced a season-best time in the 400m Hurdles and finished second at the Tennessee Relays (4/12), clocking in at 1:00.02
2017 TRACK & FIELD
Indoor
- Set an indoor personal best with a 400m time of 54.91 at the SEC Indoor Championships as she took 19th place
- Took 12th place in the 400m competition at the Tiger Paw Invitational with a new personal best time of 55.45
- Finished third in the 400m race at the VT "Doc Hale" Elite Meet with a time of 56.09
- Won her heat and finished ninth overall with a time of 55.68 in the 400m at the Commodore Invitational
- Took fifth place with a time of 56.82 in the 400m at the Indiana-Tennessee Dual
- Posted a time of 1:15.81 in her first competition as a Vol while taking ninth in the 500m race at the Hoosier Open.
Outdoor
- Set two personal bests at the NCAA East Prelims as she recorded a time of 59.12 in the prelims and then bettered that with a mark of 58.20 in the finals as she finished 14th in the 400m hurdles
- Notched a 12th place finish at the SEC Outdoor Championship with a time of 1:00.36 in the 400m hurdles
- Placed second in the 400m hurdles at the USC Open as she recorded a time of 1:00.23
- Took third place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.60 at the Tennessee Relays
- Won the 400m competition and took sixth place in the 200m at the Tennessee Rust Buster with personal best times of 54.20 and a wind-aided 24.25 mark
PERSONAL
- Brooklynn Broadwater, daughter of Orgena Renee and Maurice Broadwater, was born on June 23, 1998
- Has six siblings: Shanee, Maurice Jr., Justin, Taylr, Tylr and Madison
- Majoring in Kinesiology (graduated May 2020)
- All-State outdoor in four different years and indoor in three seasons
- Indoor state champion in the 200m (2015) and 400m (2014 and 2015)
- Wants to become a physical therapist after graduating from UT
- Recipient of the Dr. Sheryl Cowan Women's Athletic Endowed Scholarship
