Outdoor- Ran the 3000S at the SEC Outdoor Championships (5/11) with a time of 9:16.54
- Lowered his personal best time in the 3000S to 8.54.79 at the Wake Forest Invitational (4/19)
- Competed in the 3000S at the Raleigh Relays (3/30), achieving a new personal best time of 8:56.54
- Made his Tennessee debut at the Vanderbilt Invitational with a new personal best time of 8:12.16 in the 3000 meter (1/20) and also competed in the 5000 meter at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational (2/10) with a time of 14:13.99

- Finished fourth at the OVC Championships (5/11), completing the race in 14:42.98
- Had a Top-Five finish at the Drake Relays, crossing the line in 14:08.50
