MEN’S TENNIS CENTRAL: ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- For the fourth-consecutive year, the Tennessee men's tennis program will host the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships at Goodfriend Tennis Center and Knoxville Racquet Club.
The 128-player singles and 64-team doubles tournament runs Thursday through Monday with first-round doubles starting at 8 a.m. Thursday. Admission is free to all sessions.
The singles and doubles champions will advance to the ITA National Fall Championships from Nov. 7-11 in Surprise, Ariz.
TOURNAMENT SITES: Main draw matches will be played indoors at Goodfriend Tennis Center and Knoxville Racquet Club. Starting Sunday, all matches will be played at Goodfriend Tennis Center.
Tennessee's outdoor facility, the Barksdale Tennis Stadium, will house the first-round loser singles consolation bracket from Friday through Monday.

SPECTATOR PARKING: Because of ongoing construction to on-campus housing surrounding Goodfriend Tennis Center, spectator parking will be located in lot SC-40, which is located across Cumberland Avenue from the University Commons shopping center.
SEEDED VOLS: Tennessee senior Timo Stodder is the top-seeded individual in singles after reaching the regional final last season. Stodder and fellow co-captain Preston Touliatos check in as the No. 2 seed in the Ohio Valley doubles bracket.
Other seeded Vols include junior Scott Jones (No. 7), sophomore Andrew Rogers (No. 11) and junior Luca Wiedenmann (No. 31). Tennessee's doubles pairing of Rogers/Pat Harper were seeded 11th in the tournament.
VOL CHAMPIONS AT THE OHIO VALLEY REGIONAL: Since joining the ITA Ohio Valley Region in the 2009 regional realignment, Tennessee has won one singles title (Hunter Reese, 2013) and four doubles titles (Boris Conkic/Rhyne Williams, 2009; Mikelis Libietis/Hunter Reese, 2011; Mikelis Libietis/John Collins, 2012; Jack Schipanski/Luis Valero, 2016).
HOSTS AGAIN: Since expanding from four to six courts in 2011, Tennessee has hosted the men's regional six times.
