SEATTLE – The No. 2 Tennessee men's tennis team fell to #4 TCU Monday in the ITA Indoor National Championship final.

The Vols (11-2) dropped the doubles point to the Horned Frogs (12-1), with TCU wins coming on courts one and two. UT's Johannus Monday and Mark Wallner won on court three over Juan Carlos Aguilar and Tim Ruehl, 6-3, collecting their fourth doubles win at the No. 3 slot in as many days.

TCU took a 2-0 lead as #52 Jake Fearnley overcame #114 Shunsuke Mitsui, 6-1, 6-3. From there, sophomore #10 Monday claimed a straight-set victory over TCU's #15 Juan Carlos Aguilar, 6-4, 6-1 to put Tennessee on the board.

The Horned Frogs clinched the match on court four, as #122 Angel Diaz dropped a three-set battle to Pedro Vives, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6.

Tennessee has a week off, before closing out non-conference action at home against Furman on Tuesday, March 1 at 1 p.m. ET.
