FALL SEASON
- Toppled fourth-ranked Iñaki Montes, a 2022 NCAA Singles Championship quarterfinalist, of Virginia in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4 at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma (10/5/22).
- Submitted an unblemished 5-0 record on the doubles courts at the Knoxville Showdown, doing so with four different partners—Bicknell (1-0), Kozlov (2-0), Mitsui (1-0) and Hunter (1-0).
SPRING SEASON
- Combined for 202 total wins (106 in two years at Tennessee) throughout his collegiate career, posting records of 95-46 (.674) in singles and 107-41 (.723) on the doubles courts.
- Reached the NCAA Singles Championship following an 18-win doubles total during the dual season.
- In what would be his final career doubles match alongside Mitsui, defeated South Carolina's (5/13/23) 48th-ranked Beasley/Story at the No. 2 position, 6-4, in the NCAA Super Regional. Hudd and Mitsui finished with a 46-15 (.754) career doubles record as a pairing in two seasons at Tennessee and were 19-3 together in 2022-23.
- Overcame Filippo Moroni of Wake Forest (5/7/23) in three sets, 2-6, 6-1, 6-1, to clinch Tennessee's berth to its fourth consecutive NCAA Super Regional appearance.
- Alongside Mitsui, blanked Ole Miss' (4/21/23) Engelhardt/Stromberg at the No. 2 doubles spot, 6-0, during the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.
- Dominated Arkansas' (4/16/23) Melvin Manuel, 6-2, 6-1, at the No. 2 singles slot to close the regular season at 9-3 in SEC singles play.
- Slotted at the No. 1 singles lineup position for Tennessee's 6-1 rout of Ole Miss (4/13/23), defeated John Hallquist Lithen, 6-3, 6-2, for his second career victory at No. 1 singles.
- Named SEC Player of the Week for a second consecutive week on April 12.
- Logged a career-high ITA national singles ranking of No. 27 on April 11.
- Collected his second top-15 singles triumph of the dual season, with a straight-set, 6-4, 6-4, win over No. 11 Connor Thomson of South Carolina (4/9/23) on court two.
- Battled for and won a tiebreaker at the No. 2 doubles slot with Mitsui, taking down South Carolina's (4/9/23) 31st-ranked duo of Beasley/Story, 7-6(4).
- Served as the clincher for a second consecutive match, besting #92 Will Grant of Florida (4/7/23) in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 2 lineup spot in UT's 4-3 triumph.
- Named SEC Player of the Week on April 5.
- Delivered the clinching fourth point for the Vols with a 6-3, 7-6(5), victory over No. 27 Alafia Ayeni as Tennessee took down Kentucky (3/2/23). It served as his fifth ranked singles win of the season.
- Clinched the doubles point with Mitsui in Tennessee's sweep of No. 4 Kentucky (3/2/23), winning 7-5 on court three over the 38th-ranked duo of Lapadat/Mercer.
- Dominated Mississippi State (3/31/23) 74th-ranked doubles pair of Lumsden/Jovanovic, 6-0, alongside Mitsui.
- Used a straight-set decision over Columbia's (3/24/23) #89 Roko Horvat, 6-2, 6-4, on court two in Tennessee's first top-10 win of the season.
- Earned his 100th career doubles victory and extended his doubles winning streak to 11 matches with a 6-4 win on court two over Rollins/Taylor of Texas A&M (3/26/23), alongside Mitsui.
- Collected his second ranked singles win of the dual season by defeating 63rd-ranked Enzo Aguiard of Alabama (3/16/23), in an abbreviated third set, 7-6(1), 4-6, 1-0(10-8).
- Won a back-and-forth match agaisnt Alabama's (3/16/23) Samofalov/Sarouk at the No. 2 doubles spot with Mitsui, eventually taking a tiebreaker to clinch the doubles point for the Vols with a 7-6(5) victory.
- Rolled past Stefan Latinovic of LSU (3/11/23) on court two, 6-4, 6-4 for his second consecutive SEC singles win at the No. 2 lineup position.
- Clinched the doubles point against Auburn (3/2/23) on court two alongside Mitsui, defeating Galka/Blaydes in a competitive tiebreaker, 7-6(5).
- Logged his second top-four singles win of the season and first of the dual slate, battling past Stanford's (2/18/23) No. 2 Nishesh Basavareddy in straight sets, 7-6(2), 6-4 at the No. 4 singles position.
- Outscored opponents 18-8 in doubles alongside Mitsui in three matches at the ITA National Indoor Championship, capturing wins over Virginia's (2/17/23) Montes/Dahlberg, 6-3, Banerjee/Rajesh of Stanford (2/18/23), 6-2 and Illinois' Ozolins/Heck, 6-3. Each win came at the No. 2 lineup spot.
- Clinched the crucial doubles point, alongside Angel Diaz, at the No. 2 spot in Tennessee's 4-3 win over Oklahoma to advance to the ITA National Indoor Championships. The UT pair won a tiebreaker, 7-6(7) over the Sooners' Han/Hasson.
- Breezed to a 6-2, 6-3 win over Louisiana's (1/27/23) Karlo Kajin at No. 4 singles on day one of the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
- Tallied his 50th career dual singles win with a convincing 6-4, 6-2 victory over Franco Ribero of Texas Tech (1/9/23) on court three.
- Was the first singles match to finish in Tennessee's 6-1 rout of Charlotte (1/8/23), defeating Vasco Prata 6-2, 6-2 in his sixth court-two singles win as a Vol.
2021-22 - SENIOR

FALL SEASON
- Logged three straight-set singles victories at the Fighting Illini Invitational, while also claiming a trio of doubles wins with Shunsuke Mitsui.
- Reached the doubles semifinals at the ITA All-American Championships with Shunsuke Mitsui, claiming victory in six of seven matches while in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their run saw them defeat the 4th-ranked pairing of Daniel Rodrigues/Connor Thomson (South Carolina).
- Collected a pair of singles wins and a perfect 2-0 doubles record at the Knoxville Showdown (9/10/21-9/12/21), his first action as a Vol.
SPRING SEASON
- Was responsible for Tennessee's first singles win during its 4-3 win in the NCAA Quarterfinals over Baylor, defeating #73 Sven Lah, 7-6(3), 6-3 on court three.
- Enjoyed a 6-1 doubles victory with Mitsui over Baylor's #9 Mazzuchi and Soto during Tennessee's 4-3 win over the Bears (5/19/22) in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
- Received his degree in Philosophy on May 21.
- Earned the second of Tennessee's three singles wins in a sweep of Florida State (5/14/22), taking down Sebastian Arcila in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.
- Clinched the doubles point alongside Mitsui against Florida State (5/14/22), with a 6-4 win over Pourroy and Petrovic on court two.
- Won 12 of 14 games in a 6-1, 6-1 singles win over Connor Krug of Duke (5/7/22) in the NCAA Round of 32.
- Battled for a ranked doubles victory with Mitsui in the SEC Tournament semifinals, toppling Florida's (4/23/22) 37th-ranked Andrade/Siimar, 6-4.
- Won his final four completed doubles matches of the regular season, each with Mitsui, culminating with a 6-2 victory over Alabama's (4/15/22) Aguiard/Martin on court two.
- Picked up a ranked singles win in Tennessee's 6-1 win over Auburn (4/17/22), defeating 124th-ranked Tad Maclean, 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-4) on court three.
- Garnered two singles wins at the No. 2 singles slot on Tennessee's road trip at Texas A&M and LSU, clinching match point in both victories. He toppled Raphael Perot of Texas A&M (3/25/22), 5-7, 7-5, 6-1 to earn the Vols a 4-3 win. Sunday saw Hudd use dominant play in a second-set tiebreak to topple LSU's (3/27/22) Vlad Lobak in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6(1).
- Toppled Georgia's (3/20/22) 40th-ranked Philip Henning, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 for his first top-50 singles triumph of the season.
- Earned a 7-6(2) victory over South Carolina's 30th-ranked doubles pairing of Rodrigues/Thomson (3/11/22), alongside Mitsui.
- Logged a ranked singles win in Tennessee's win at 14th-ranked Ole Miss (3/6/22), defeating #91 Finn Reynolds in straight sets, 7-6(7), 7-6(4).
- Earned two singles wins at the ITA Indoor National Championships, defeating #97 Connor Thomson of South Carolina (2/19/22), 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, and Baylor's #123 Sven Lah, 6-4, 7-6(9). Both of those victories were match-clinching for Tennessee, in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively.
- Took down Texas A&M's (2/18/22) 33rd-ranked doubles pairing of Schachter/Abbrat, 7-5 alongside doubles partner Shunsuke Mitsui at the ITA Indoor National Championships.
- Earned his 14th and 15th singles wins of the season with a pair of three-set victories, defeating Stefanos Savva of Charlotte (2/12/22) 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, and Columbia's (2/13/22) Roko Horvat, 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-1 in the same weekend.
- Cruised past Old Dominion's Codie Van Schalkwyk, 6-1, 6-1 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
- Picked up a ranked singles win by taking down #75 Filippo Moroni of Wake Forest in a three-set battle, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(4), to clinch match point for the Vols.
- Logged a pair of singles victories over ETSU, as well as a pair of doubles wins over the Buccaneers alongside Shunsuke Mitsui to open the 2022 dual season.
BEFORE TENNESSEE
- During his three seasons at Oklahoma State, Hudd was a mainstay at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles for the Cowboys earning career-high ITA rankings of No. 87 in singles and No. 19 in doubles.
- As a freshman, Hudd and then-partner Maxim Tybar won the ITA Central Region Doubles Championship in the Fall of 2018.
- In the classroom, Hudd was also named a 2020 ITA Scholar Athlete.
- Compiled records of 33-22 in singles and 35-16 in doubles during his three seasons in Stillwater.
PREP/PERSONAL
- Born May 27, 2000, in London, England.
- Was a standout for Craig Veal at Cheam School in London.
- Tallied 59 singles wins and 46 doubles wins as a junior in the ITF circuit and earned a career high juniors ranking of No. 139.
- Hudd also took part in the European Youth Olympics in 2015 and was a competitor at junior Wimbledon in 2018.
- Son of Simon and Jenine Hudd.
