Men’s Tennis Central: Fighting Illini Invitational

URBANA, Ill. – The Tennessee men's tennis team is geared up for the Fighting Illini Invitational, set to begin Friday and run through Sunday, Oct. 17.

Eight Vols—Angel Diaz, Conor Gannon, Emile Hudd, Shunsuke Mitsui, Johannus Monday, Martim Prata, Mark Wallner and Adam Walton—will be in action this weekend for the three-day round-robin event.

Hudd holds a singles record of 6-2 and a doubles record of 10-2 this fall. Mitsui is 13-2 in doubles action this fall, with eight of those wins coming with Hudd. The pair won six consecutive doubles matches at the ITA All-American Championships, before falling in the semifinals.

Live stats of the event will be provided through Sidearm Stats. The Vols' matches are set to begin at 11 a.m. ET Friday.
