Johnny Fabrizius has been with the Olympic strength and conditioning staff at the University of Tennessee for the past four years. He currently serves as an assistant sports performance coach working with soccer and women’s tennis.
In addition to his sport oversight duties, Fabrizius also supervises the utilization of the Olympic Sports Performance staff's Catapult GPS technology.
Prior to his arrival on Rocky Top, Fabrizius held a role as the director of human performance for the University of Tennessee Army ROTC. He also previously served as an assistant performance coach at Dakota Wesleyan University in South Dakota, working with football and both the men’s and women’s basketball programs.
Fabrizius received his M.S in Kinesiology from Tennessee in 2018. He had previously earned both a B.S. in Exercise Science, and a B.A. In Psychology from Dakota Wesleyan in 2016.
Fabrizius is certified through the National Strength and Condition Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
