Ally Brown Tabbed To TopDrawerSoccer Third Team Best XI
December 16, 2025 | Soccer
LONG BEACH, Calif. — After earning All-America honors from the United Soccer Coaches last week, Tennessee senior defender Ally Brown was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Third Team Best XI as the publication released its postseason awards on Tuesday.
Brown was one of six Southeastern Conference players recognized on the TopDrawerSoccer Best XI teams and one of just two SEC defenders featured. She is the first Lady Vol to receive Best XI postseason honors from TopDrawerSoccer since Wrenne French was named to the second team in 2021.
Brown delivered a remarkable senior season for the Lady Vols, serving as captain of a team that led the SEC and ranked 13th nationally with 13 shutouts to tie a program record. She led the squad with 1,627 minutes played over the course of the 2025 campaign, finishing the year with two goals and four assists. The defender from College Grove, Tennessee, was recognized as the SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and named First Team All-SEC and All-Region in 2025. Alongside classmate and fellow captain Mac Midgley, Brown was ultimately selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Fourth Team.
