Five Lady Vols Earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The United Soccer Coaches announced that five Tennessee women's soccer standouts have earned NCAA Division I All-Southeast Region honors for their outstanding performances during the 2025 campaign. The five selections mark the most All-Region honorees in a single season in program history and are the highest total of any SEC team this year.
Senior defender Ally Brown was recognized on the All-Southeast Region First Team, while senior midfielder Mac Midgley earned Second Team honors. Redshirt junior defender Leah Klurman, sophomore goalkeeper Cayden Norris and redshirt senior midfielder Jenna Stayart rounded out UT's All-Region selections with Third Team nods from the United Soccer Coaches.
Brown delivered a remarkable senior season for the Lady Vols, serving as captain of a team the led the SEC and ranked 13th nationally with 13 shutouts to tie a program record. She led the squad with 1,627 minutes played over the course of the 2025 campaign, finishing the year with two goals and four assists. The College Grove, Tennessee, native was recognized as the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year and named First Team All-SEC at the end of the regular season.
Midgley picked up All-Region honors for the second consecutive season, improving on her fourth team nod last fall to second team recognition in 2025. The Wolverine Lake, Michigan, product totaled one goal and four assists during her senior campaign and served as campaign of a squad that was ranked in the top five for a majority of the season and earned a No. 3 national seed in the NCAA Tournament. Midgley capped the regular season earning All-SEC Second Team honors for her efforts leading the Lady Vols on the pitch.
Klurman played and started 18 matches in 2025 and anchored Tennessee's record-setting defense that ranked 11th nationally in goals against average (0.632). The defender from Scotch Plains, New Jersey, was tabbed the No. 26 player in the country in TopDrawerSoccer.com's Midseason Top 100 rankings and finished her redshirt junior season with one goal and two assists. Her lone score of the season was featured on ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10 Plays with a long-range strike in the win over LSU.
Norris was strong between the posts in her sophomore campaign at goalkeeper, starting 18 matches and finishing the season with 46 saves and 11 solo shutouts. Her 0.690 goals-against average ranks second in the SEC and 27th nationally, while her 11 clean sheets are tied for first in the conference and fifth in the NCAA.
Stayart rounds out UT's honorees with a third team All-Region selection after leading the Lady Vols with 14 points (five goals, four assists) during her fifth season with the program in 2025. She tallied game-winners against a pair of Peach State programs in victories over Georgia and Georgia Southern. The Cary, Illinois, native was also tabbed to the All-SEC Third Team and recognized on the SEC Community Service Team this past fall.
