Lindsay Taylor

Lindsay Taylor joined the Tennessee Soccer staff in July of 2019 as the program’s director of operations.
Taylor helps plan and coordinate the team’s travel and meals, oversees the team managers and assists with various day-to-day responsibilities that contribute to Tennessee’s status as one of the nation’s top soccer programs.
Taylor joined the Tennessee athletics department after a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at Florida State, working in operations with the Seminoles’ beach volleyball program in addition to assisting FSU’s sports science program. She received her M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State in May of 2019.
Taylor’s resume features an extensive background in coaching/managing youth soccer clubs, notably serving as the general manager and program director for Florida Elite Soccer Academy (formerly Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur FC) from 2015-18. She also spent time with the New York Red Bulls grassroots training program from 2014-15.
A Hilton Head, S.C. native, Taylor played college soccer at Winthrop University (Rock Hill, S.C.) from 2007-10. Amassing 3,328 minutes on the pitch, she played in 55 matches with 34 starts as a defender during her collegiate career. Taylor also ran track for the Eagles her senior season, competing in the 800-meter run and distance medley relay.
Taylor graduated from Winthrop in 2011 with a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. She attained her USSF B License in June of 2017.
