2017 - REDSHIRT SENIOR
- Appeared in 31 games (24 starts) for the Vols in 2017, hitting .213 with seven runs scored, two doubles and eight RBI.
- Went 2-for-3 in the series opener at Florida. He hit his second double of the season and recorded an RBI in the outing (April 7).
- Notched his first double of the season vs. Tennessee Tech, driving in one run and scoring once (March 28).
- Was 1-for-4 with one RBI in UT's series finale, 11-inning walkoff to sweep Norfolk State (March 5). Southall also turned a highlight-reel worthy, 6-4-3 double play in the top of the 10th to get the Vols out of a jam unscathed.
- Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in Tennessee's 2017 Tony Gwynn Classic finale vs. UC Irvine, hitting the game-winning, RBI-single to lift the Vols to a 10-9 win (Feb. 25).
- Drove in his first run of the season with a 1-for-3, RBI performance at Loyola Marymount (Feb. 22).
- Began the 2017 season as UT's starting shortstop, going 2-for-4 with a run scored in his debut with the Volunteers (Feb. 17).
2013-16 - UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CAL
- Spent 2013-16 as a member of the USC Trojans baseball program, hitting .266 (29-for-109) over 42 games (31 starts) as a redshirt junior in 2016
- Started 38 of his 48 games with the Trojans as a redshirt sophomore in 2015
- Named to the All-Lake Elsinore Regional Team in 2015
- Batted .250 for the 2015 season (32-for-128), including six doubles, 30 runs scored and a .362 OBP
- Earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors from 2015-16. Also took home a Second Team nod during the 2014 season
- Batted .250 while appearing in 35 games, making 22 starts, as a redshirt fresman in 2014
- Appeared in two games in his true freshman season (2013)
