- Recorded his first two career hits and first-career RBI in the final game of Tennessee's season-opening series against Maryland (2/18)
2017 - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
- Appeared in one game for Tennessee during the 2017 season as a pinch hitter.
- Made his first career appearance for the Vols on May 9 vs. Belmont. He entered the game in the bottom of the eighth inning as a pinch hitter.

- Did not appear in any games for the Vols in 2016.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Knoxville standout hails from Farragut High School, where he helped his Admirals to a 2014 State Championship title and a team record of 37-13.
- Earned All-State honors as a catcher during his junior season in 2014, hitting .392 with 17 doubles, nine homers and 63 RBI for the Class AAA state-champion Admirals.
- A switch-hitter, Mascia hit a game-tying homer against Science Hill in a Class AAA state sectional game in 2015.
