Bio
One of the top swimmers of UT's current roster, Brooklyn Douthwright secured a spot at her first Olympics as a member of the Canadian 4x100 free relay. She was a part of the team that finished fifth in the 800 free relay at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships for Canada. While on Rocky Top, she has won eight SEC medals in addition to being an SEC Champion in the 200 free and 400 medley relay. Douthwright is a seven-time All-American and was the NCAA runner-up in the 200 free in 2023. She boasts six top-10 times in UT history, including the third-fastest 200 free mark.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Officially punched her ticket to compete on Team Canada's 4x100 free relay squad for the 2024 Paris Games during the Canadian Olympic Trials.
- During the 2023 World Championships, served as the anchor on the Canadian 800 free relay team that placed fifth.
2024-25 - SENIOR
- Top times from season: 50 free (22.43), 100 free (47.44), 200 free (1:42.62), 100 fly (51.69), 200 IM (1:56.90).
- At the NCAA Championships...
- Was a member of the 800 free relay which took sixth overall thanks to a time of 6:53.87.
- Posted the second podium finish of her career in the 200 free, clocking a 1:44.03 effort to take eighth; this marked her fourth straight season of placing inside the top 10 in the event.
- Part of the team that brought home silver in the 400 free relay thanks to a school record time of 3:08.63; the performance marked the best finish in the event in school history, surpassing fifth-place efforts in 1988, 2021 and 2024.
- At the 2025 SEC Championships...
- Part of the 800 free relay team which broke the school record to bring home gold behind a 6:49.83 effort; this marked the Tennessee women's 100th SEC Championship in program history and the program's third SEC title in the event ever.
- Placed 17th in the 200 IM (1:56.90), winning the C final.
- Clocked a time of 1:42.62 to win bronze in the 200 free, medaling in the event for the third time in her career.
- Won silver in the 100 free with the No. 3 time (47.44) in program history; it marked the first time ever two Lady Vols finished first and second in the event.
- Swam in the 400 free relay team that brought home Tennessee's first gold in the event since 2016; the lineup posted the second-fastest time in school history during the process with its 3:09.02 effort.
2023-24 - JUNIOR
- Top times from season: 50 free (22.66), 100 free (47.75), 200 free (1:42.45), 100 fly (53.35) and 200 IM (1:56.04).
- Won three All-America certificates during the NCAA Championships (3/20-23/24) after being a member of the silver-medal winning 800 free relay squad along with competing in the 200 free and 400 free relay.
- Was a member of the gold medal-winning 400 medley relay team (3:24.92), silver medalist 400 free relay and 800 free relay squads and earned her own bronze medal in the 100 free after touching the wall in 47.16 while advancing to A finals in her other two events during the SEC Championships (2/19-24/24).
- Tallied a first-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:44.04 and secured second in the 100 free (49.08), 200 IM (1:57.60) and the 200 medley relay in a dual meet over No. 25 LSU (1/27/24).
- Claimed two victories in the 200 free and 100 fly against No. 12 Georgia (1/20/24), notching season-best times of 1:44.31 and 53.35, respectively.
- Placed fifth in the 100 free, ninth in the 200 free, seventh in the 400 free, eighth in the 500 free, ninth in the 100 free and 10th in the 200 IM at the Tennessee Invite (11/15-17/23).
- Competed in four events and won the 200 LCM free, touching the wall in 2:00.90, during the Lady Vols season-opening victory over No. 3 Louisville (10/12/23).
2022-23 - SOPHOMORE
- Top times from season: 50 free (22.63), 100 free (49.29), 200 free (1:42.41), 100 fly (54.47), 100 back (53.40) and 200 IM (1:57.42).
- At the 2023 NCAA Championships...
- Recorded a swift 1:42.41 effort in the 200 free at the 2023 NCAA Championships earning a silver medal.
- Was a member of the team that notched a No. 2 time in Lady Vol history in the 400 medley relay (3:27.92) to finish fifth overall.
- Was a part of the squad that notched a fourth-fastest time in program history in the 800 free relay for a fifth-place finish (6:57.49).
- Clocked a personal best in the 200 IM at 1:57.42 to win her heat during the prelims.
- Achieved the eighth fastest time in program history in the 400 free relay, finishing the event in 3:12.94 to come in 10th nationally.
- At the 2023 SEC Championships...
- Won gold in the 200 free with a swift 1:42.64 effort.
- With the second-fastest split in Lady Vols history (1:42.45), pushed her squad to silver during the 800 free relay with a 6:58.26 finish - the sixth-fastest time in UT program history.
- Was a part of the squad that brought home a silver medal in the 400 medley relay thanks to a 3:28.78 effort.
- Placed second in the 100 free (49.73) and 200 free (1:47.96) during the meet against Georgia (1/21/23).
- During the meet against Missouri (1/7/23), took home first place in the 100 free (49.80) and 200 free (1:48.39) as well as helped push the freestyle relay squad to the fastest finish of the day (3:22.91).
- Earned the fastest time in the 200 free, touching the wall in 1:44.78 during the Tennessee Invitational (11/17-20/22).
- Posted a first place finish place finish in the 200 free against Louisville (10/20/2022) with a time of 1:48.79.
2021-22 - FRESHMAN
- Top times from season: 50 free (22.72), 100 free (48.58), 200 free (1:43.45), 500 free (4:50.77), 100 back (54.75), 200 back (2:02.22), 200 fly (2:02.78), 200 IM (2:02.52).
- Member of the Lady Vols' SEC Championship team.
- Competed in the 800 free relay during the NCAA Championships, finishing eighth with the fourth-best time in UT history at 6:57.79 to earn first team All-America honors; Also placed 25th in the 200 free with a 1:45.87 mark.
- Won silver in the 200 free behind a 1:43.45 mark, which ranked sixth in program history, during the SEC Championships and advanced to the B final in the 50 free (22.72).
- Notched a personal-best in the 200 IM (2:02.52) at home versus Carson-Newman (1/29/22).
- Placed second in the 200 free at NC State (10/15/21) with a time of 1:48.54.
- In her freshman debut, won the 200 free, touching the wall at 1:50.34 at UNC Wilmington (10/1/21).
