INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Officially punched his ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics in the sprint freestyles after posting a time of 21.88 in the 50 free and 48.16 in the 100 free during the Brazilian Swimming Championships.
- Represented Brazil at the 2023 World Championships, participating in the 100 free as well as the 400 free relay and mixed relay, garnering top-12 finishes in both.
2024-25 - JUNIOR
- Top times from season: 50 free (18.26), 100 free (40.15), 100 fly (44.31).
- At the 2025 NCAA Championships...
- Member of the 400 free relay team that broke its own NCAA record with a time of 2:42.30, earning the national title in the event for the first time since 1979.
- Part of the 200 free relay team that won the national title for the first time in school history with a time of 1:12.84, breaking the NCAA Championship meet record.
- Touched the wall in 40.15—the second-fastest time in school history—to medal in the 100 free for a second straight year.
- Clocked the second-fastest 100 fly time in school history at 44.31 to win the consolation final and finish ninth overall; it marked the first time in his career earning All-America recognition in the event.
- Earned his best finish at NCAAs in the 50 free, taking third with an 18.26 effort.
- Was part of the 400 medley relay team that posted the third-fastest time in school history at 3:01.40.
- Clocked a time of 1:20.50 in the 200 medley relay to earn silver and the program's best finish in the event in 24 years; threw down the second-fastest split in the 50 fly, touching the wall in 19.05.
- At the 2025 SEC Championships...
- Was part of the 200 free relay that clocked a staggering time of 1:12.80 to blow past the previous NCAA record of 1:13.35 held by Florida; put up the second-fastest split in the field at 18.04.
- Brought home gold as a part of the 200 medley relay team, which clocked a 1:20.22 effort to shatter the school record by more than one second, marked the No. 2 effort in NCAA history and set a new SEC Championship Meet record.
- Was a member of the first Volunteer 400 medley relay team to swim under three minutes, clocking a time of 2:59.69 to bring home silver.
- Earned a bronze medal in the 50 free, clocking an 18.42 mark for the No. 2 time in school history.
- Tied for first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:23.96 in the season opener against No. 11 Louisville (10/24/24). This is the ninth-fastest mark in program history.
- Finished first in the 100 free with a time of 42.15 and clocked a time of 2:49.23 in the 400 free relay against Louisville.
2023-24 - SOPHOMORE
- Top times from season: 50 free (18.57), 100 free (40.55), 200 free (1:36.15), 100 fly (45.87).
- Collected six All-America certificates during the NCAA Championships (3/27-24/24).
- His best individual finish came in the 100 free, where he touched the wall in a personal-best 40.55 to claim silver.
- Also notched a sixth-place finish in the 50 free, earning a personal-best time of 18.57.
- Earned four podium finishes on relay squads, including school record-setting 200 and 400 free relay teams.
- Earned four silver relay medals in the 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley, and two individual medals in the 50 free and 100 free at the SEC Championships (2/19-24/24).
- Claimed a victory in the 100 free (42.60) along with relay wins in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay during the victory over LSU (1/27/24).
- Earned three silver medals in a dual meet against No. 7 Georgia (1/20/24) in the 50 free, 100 free and 400 free relay.
- Finished second in the 50 free (19.27) and 100 free (41.66) and grabbed third in the 100 fly at the Tennessee Invitational (11/15-17/23).
- Was the anchor leg of an electric 400 free relay that placed first against No. 3 Florida and No. 25 Kentucky (11/3/23).
- Opened the season with two first place finishes in the 100 free and the 400 free relay, while also tallying a second place finish in the 200 medley relay in a LCM dual meet against No. 12 Louisville (10/12/23)
2022-23 - FRESHMAN
- Top times from season: 50 free (18.79), 100 free (41.43), 200 free (1:36.34), 100 fly (46.20).
- Earned All-America recognition in six events: 50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay.
- First Team All-American in the 50 free and all four relays.
- Named SEC Freshman of the Week honors five times - most by freshman in a single season since 2011-2012.
- 2023 NCAA Championships Recap:
- In his championship debut, posted the eighth-fastest time in the 50 free (19.16), making him one of only two freshmen to finish within the top 16 in that event.
- Helped push the Vols to a program-record mark in the 200 free relay (1:14.68) to place fourth nationally.
- Was a member of the squad that notched a sixth-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:21.59), after tying the program record in prelims (1:21.59)
- Swam the final leg of the 400 medley relay that saw the team finish sixth with a time of 3:02.05, a new program record
- Led the 400 free relay to a seventh-place finish with a 2:47.19 effort.
- Won the Consolation Final in the 100 free, touching the wall in 41.54 to place ninth.
- 2023 SEC Championship Recap:
- Won five SEC medals during the week.
- Earned the first individual medal of his SEC career, touching the wall in 41.55 to win bronze in the 100 free.
- Posted the fourth-fastest time in the 50 free with a lifetime-best mark of 18.79, which was the No. 2 time in Tennessee history.
- Brought home gold in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:21.43; Also ended the competition by becoming the first Tennessee relay since 2001 to be crowned SEC Champs in the 400 free relay thanks to a 2:46.25 effort.
- Took silver in the 200 free relay (1:15.34) and 400 medley relay (3:02.51).
- Obtained a new personal-best time in the 100 fly with a 46.20 mark - the 10th-best mark in UT history.
- Won eight events during the regular season.
- Swept the sprint freestyles, posting a 19.30 in the 50 free and a 42.80 in the 100 free, while also contributing to the 200 medley relay team that won with a time of 1:24.40 against 11th-ranked Georgia (1/21/23); his efforts earned him SEC Freshman of the week for the fifth time.
- Took part in the first-place 200 medley relay (1:25.75) and 200 free relay (1:18.25) against Carson-Newman (1/19/23).
- Placed third in the 50 LCM fly (23.99) and second in the 100 LCM free (49.15) at the TYR Pro Swim Series (1/11-14/23).
- Was named SEC Freshman of the Week for the fourth time after he swept both freestyle sprints during the meet against Missouri (1/7/23), touching the wall in 19.53 in the 50 and 43.00 in the 100.
- Recorded career-best marks to earn second-place finishes in the 50 free (18.91) and 100 free (41.44) during the Tennessee Invitational (11/17-19/22) as both times ranked second in Volunteer history to earn SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors.
- Also finished fifth in the 100 fly behind a personal-best 46.50 mark and was a member of four relays that recorded wins.
- Helped set program records in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 400 medley relay.
- Posted the fastest time in the 100 free with a mark of 43.00 against Florida (11/5/22) and helped push the Vols to a win in the 200 medley relay (1:25.95).
- Named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week after winning the 100 free (42.81) and placing second in the 50 free (19.40) against Louisville (10/20/22).
- Placed first in the 100 free with a 43.36 mark against No.4 NC State (10/14-15/22); Member of the 400 free relay squad that posted the best time (2:53.38) in the event (10/14-15/22).
- Earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors after recording the top time in the 100 free (43.86) and taking second in the 50 free (20.22) during his collegiate debut against UNC Wilmington (10/1/22).
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Top times prior to Tennessee (Converted from LCM to SCY): 50 free (20.39), 100 free (46.06), 100 fly (54.28).
- From Piracicaba, Brazil, and has been a member of the Brazilian Swimming Federation.
- Finished second overall at the XV Copa Julio Maglione in Lima, Peru, in June 2019.
