2016 - SENIOR
- Appeared in 22 games for the Vols in 2016, going 1-3 with a 4.12 ERA and 25 strikeouts through 39.1 innings of work.
- Pitched 2.0 scoreless innings and struck out one batter in his first start of the season against ETSU on May 17.
- Credited with his first win of the season after tossing one inning of scoreless relief at MTSU (April 19).
- Tossed 1.2 scoreless frames as part of Tennessee's 14-4 win over UC Irvine (March 12).
- Threw 2.0 hitless innings in relief at ETSU, holding a lead for UT to capture an 11.2 win (March 9).
- Allowed no runs and struck out four batters through 2.0 innings vs. Central Michigan at the Grand Canyon Classic (Feb. 28).

- Charged with the loss in his Tennessee debut at Florida International, tossing 2.0 innings and allowing one unearned run on three hits while striking out three batters (Feb. 13).
- Earned his first win as a Vol after firing 2.0 shutout relief innings in a 4-1 victory at Belmont (Feb. 25).
- Recorded his second win of the season against East Tennessee State, pitching 2.0 innings and allowing one run on three hits (March 10).
- Pitched 3.1 innings against Florida, striking out one batter and giving up three runs on four hits (March 14).
- Tossed 4.0 innings, his longest outing of the season, striking out one batter and allowing three runs on three hits and five walks at Ole Miss (April 3).

- Spent two seasons at Cypress College in Cypress, Calif.
- Guided the Chargers to their fifth state title in 2013, posting a school record 13 wins.
- Named the California Pitcher of the Year after posting an undefeated record (13-0) and an even 2.00 ERA.
- Kane's ERA stands as second-best all-time in Cypress' single-season record books.
- Tossed three complete games, allowing just 24 earned runs and striking out a league-high 88 batters over 108 innings as a rookie.
- The 6-foot-4 ace on the Chargers' staff, Kane struck out 16 and allowed only five earned runs in the playoffs.
- Named to the All-American Southern California Team following his sophomore campaign with Cypress CC.
- Made nine appearances and collected an 0-3 record with three saves and a 2.99 ERA for the California Collegiate League's LA Brewers. His three saves tied for the most by a Brewer over the summmer, while his 28 strikeouts tied for fifth-most on the club.

- Graduated from Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Ariz., where he earned three letters for the Mustangs. He also played two seasons (2010-11) of basketball.
- Earned second team All-State honors as a senior and was a three-time All-Region honoree, also taking honorable mention honors in 2009.
- Posted a combined record of 23-6 in high school, including a 10-1 senior season where he struck out 65 and finished with a 2.00 ERA.
- Played travel ball with AZ Athletics.
