Bio
2016 - FRESHMAN
- Played in seven games for the Vols in 2016, hitting .167 while making appearances in the designated hitter position and the outfield.
- Recorded his first career hit for the Big Orange on March 9, going 1-for-1 at the plate as a pinch-hitter at ETSU.
- Made his collegiate debut as a pinch hitter in UT's 5-2 win over Memphis, going 0-for-1 (Feb. 21).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Two-year varsity captain at Luella High School in Locust Grove, Ga.
- Earned First Team All-America honors from Perfect Game in both 2013 and 2014.
- Ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 18 player in the state of Georgia and as the 135th overall prospect.
- Batted .450 with two home runs, 40 RBI, and 26 stolen bases s a junior.
- High school teammates with fellow Volunteer Vincent Jackson.
