2012 - FRESHMAN
• Made 21 appearances on the mound as a freshman, including seven starts which were the third-most on the team.• Went 2-3 with a 4.86 ERA, striking out 41 batters in a total of 63.0 innings of work.
• Was particularly difficult on right-handed hitters, holding them to a .217 batting average (26-of-120).
• Made his collegiate debut with 3.0 innings and two strikeouts vs. Northern Illinois on Feb. 17.
• Earned his first win with 4.1 innings (2 H, 1 R) of relief against Seton Hall on Feb. 24.
• Longest appearance of the year came out of the bullpen at Ole Miss on May 13 when he fired 5.1 innings of one-run ball.
• Pitched for the Bethesda Big Train in the Cal Ripken League during the summer of 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Va., where he was coached by Billy Emerson. • Was named a 2011 Rawlings All American and All Regions Atlantic Region Honorable Mention, a 2011 All-WCAC second-team selection and a 2010 Perfect Game USA 2010 Underclass All American and All Region Honorable Mention.
• Led the Panthers to a 17-12 record and a 2011 VISAA Division I State-runner up title.
• In 2009 as a sophomore, helped the Panthers win a WCAC Championship and second consecutive state championship.
