2013 - SOPHOMORE
• Appeared in eight games for the Vols, throwing out 22.2% of base runners (2-for-9).• Finished the season hitting .125 with one RBI.
• Recorded his first collegiate hit on February 16 at UNLV.
• Earned a starting nod behind the plate at UNLV on Feb. 16, going 1-for-3.
• Drove in a run with a safety squeeze in his second starting assignment as the Vols defeated UMass, 6-4, on March 2.
2012 - FRESHMAN
• Played in six games as a true freshman, starting three contests at catcher.• Started against Northern Illinois (Feb. 18), at Memphis (May 9) and at MTSU (May 15).
• Drew a walk in his first collegiate plate appearance in the second inning against Northern Illinois on Feb. 18.
• Also reached base at Memphis, as he was hit by a pitch.
• Threw out a potential basestealer vs. the Tigers as well.
• Played for the Cincinnati Steam in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League in 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Memphis University School in Memphis, Tenn., where he was coached by Johnny Beard. • Was named to the 2011 Commercial Appeal Pepsi All-Metro Team and to the 2011 TSWA All-State Team as well as to the 2010 Commercial Appeal Pepsi All-Metro Team.
• Helped lead the Owls to a 27-6 record and their second straight state-runner up finish as he hit .410 with 28 RBIs and two home runs.
• In his junior season, he hit .390 with a pair of home runs.
• As a linebacker for the Owl football team, he was a part of two state championship teams in 2008 and 2009 finishing with a perfect 13-0 record both years.
