CAREER HONORS
- 2018 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll
2018Â - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN
- Played in 11 games, including one start, in 2018, hitting .300 with one double and two RBIs
- Went 1-for-1 at Georgia as a pinch hitter on April 28
- Earned his first career start in right field vs. UT Martin on April 11. In the outing, he recorded his first career hit, and RBI, finishing the day with two base hits, a run scored and two RBI
- Made his collegiate debut on March 6 vs. James Madison, entering the game in right field before drawing a walk at the plate
2017 - REDSHIRT SEASON
- Did not play in any games during the 2017 season.
- Gobbell finished his summer season with the Anchorage Bucs batting .125 with three runs scored and one RBI through nine games.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Graduated from Hardin County High School in Tennessee.
- Lettered all four years of high school in both baseball and football, serving as football captain for two years.
- Hit .440, homered three times and stole 21 bases as a junior in 2015.
- Named a 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American
- Tabbed a Preseason Under Armour All-American junior year.
- Earned All-District honors in 2015 and 2014.
- Named Hats Baseball Rookie of the Year in 2013.
- Ranked as the No. 4 outfielder and 15th overall player in the state of Tennessee. He was also tabbed the 146th outfielder in the USA by Perfect Game in the 2016 class.
