OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – Kicking off the 2023 season, Tennessee rowing competes on its home course at Melton Hill Lake for the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite on Saturday and Sunday.

The Lady Vols, who were ranked 19th in the final Pocock CRCA Coaches Poll last season, will join the host team Louisville and eight other squads to make up the stacked field at the regatta. Tennessee as well as No. 5 Yale, No. 16 Duke and No. 18 Indiana are the only teams who were ranked at the end of last year, while Alabama, Clemson, Navy, Notre Dame and Wisconsin were all receiving votes in the poll.Â
Competition will open on Saturday with a morning session from 9:14 a.m. ET followed by an afternoon session from 3 p.m. The regatta will conclude on Sunday morning with an 8:30 a.m. session. Here's Tennessee's race schedule for the weekend:
