SUCCESS AT THE TOP OF THE LINEUP
When Tennessee earns singles wins at the top of the lineup this dual season, it has a successful track record. The Vols are 9-0 when claiming victory at No. 1 singles and also boast a perfect 10-0 mark when a Vol wins at the No. 3 singles slot.
CHASING HISTORY
In October, graduate student Adam Walton earned his 100th career singles win to become the 11th-ever Vol to reach the century mark in career singles triumphs. At 92 career doubles wins, Walton now stands eight doubles victories away from 100. Reaching this feat would make him just the sixth Vol in program history to accrue 100 career doubles and 100 career singles wins.
RANKED DUBS
Eight of Tennessee's 15 wins this dual season have come against top-25 competition. In fact, 10 of its previous 11 matches have come against top-25 foes. LSU, holding the No. 40 distinction in the latest ITA Rankings, serves as the first UT opponent outside the top-25 since the Vols defeated Furman at home, 5-2, on March 1.
