Men’s Tennis Central: Bulldog Invitational

ATHENS, Ga. – Three members of the Tennessee men's tennis team are set to compete at the Bulldog Invitational this weekend, beginning Friday and running through Sunday, Oct. 10.
Tennessee senior Mark Wallner, freshman Conor Gannon and junior Angel Diaz will represent the Vols in Athens, after having competed in prequalifying and qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships this week.
Play, divided into four singles draws and three doubles draws, will be held both indoors and outdoors at the Magill Tennis Complex. UT will compete in the Magill singles draw and the Magill doubles draw.
The event's format consists of an eight game pro-set, no-ad scoring for doubles and two out of three sets, no-ad scoring for all singles matches.
Teams represented at the three-day event are Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Ole Miss, UNC Charlotte, UNC Wilmington, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Furman, Miami, Georgia State and Vanderbilt.
Start times for each day will be 9 a.m. ET, with one round of singles and two rounds of doubles set to take place Friday. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday are two rounds of singles and one round of doubles each day.
