KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee women's tennis team hosts Furman on Monday inside the Goodfriend Tennis Center for their third dual match of the 2021 campaign.
The Lady Vols (2-0) take on the Paladins (0-1) in their final home dual before heading to Columbus, Ohio for the ITA Kickoff weekend. First serve is set for 11 a.m. ET.
All home matches played inside the Goodfriend Tennis Center will be conducted without fans per SEC COVID-19 protocols. Information regarding fans at outdoor matches played at Barksdale Stadium will be announced at a later date.

Last Time Out: The Lady Vols were dominant in their doubleheader against UT Martin on Friday, Jan. 15. UT won both matches by a score of 7-0, and did not drop a set in singles play.
No. 118-ranked sophomore Carly Briggs and senior Tenika McGiffin both collected their first career win at the No. 1 singles position. In the opening match, Briggs downed Amelia Campbell 6-2, 6-1 and McGiffin beat Daphne Pratt in straight sets (6-0, 6-2) in the second dual of the day.
No. 52-ranked junior Rebeka Mertena won both of her singles matches in the No. 2 position, downing both of her opponents by a score of 6-2, 6-1.
Inside the Series: Monday marks the 11th meeting between the two programs all time. UT holds a 10-0 record against the Paladins.
The last time the two programs met was in 2019 in the opening round of the NCAA Championships in Raleigh, N.C. The Lady Vols took the match 4-0 to give head coach Alison Ojeda her second postseason victory as the head coach of her alma mater.
