KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee track and field team will compete in both Washington's Husky Classic and Clemson's Tiger Paw Invite from Feb. 9-10.

"We look to go back to Clemson this weekend, our second time in the facility this season, being much more comfortable and also much more prepared for the increase in the level of competition," Tennessee Director of Track and Field/Cross Country Beth Alford-Sullivan said. "We will see most of the SEC and some other great competition from around the country. We look to really show up and compete in that environment and set us up to be ready to be compete at that competition level needed at the SEC Championships."
Nine distance runners will make the trip across the country for the Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor.
"We look forward to being in a great distance competition," Alford-Sullivan said. "The University of Washington and head coach Greg Metcalf put on a great meet every year. They really seed up the heats of each race very well and competitive. We hope to bring back a lot of personal bests and some great times from the competition."
