Stodder Falls in Second Round of ITA All-American

TULSA, Okla. — Tennessee sophomore Timo Stodder's run at the ITA All-American ended in the second round Friday with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 loss to Oklahoma's Ferran Calvo.
Stodder is now 4-2 on the season with a pair of top-100 victories, one of them coming in the first round.Â
Calvo, a junior transfer on the Sooner squad, is now 17-0 on the season and has won eight matches in Tulsa after playing through prequalifying and qualifying draws.Â
The Vols' full squad will be back in action when the team hosts the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, which runs Oct. 19-23 at Goodfriend Tennis Center and Knoxville Racquet Club.Â
