- The Lady Vols started the season 4-0 after beating Western Kentucky, Murray State, Middle Tennessee State and Mercer last weekend.
- They will face Michigan on Saturday as well as Detroit and Western Michigan in a doubleheader on Sunday.

- Sophomores Eve Repic and Laurence Guevremont are currently on a six-match winning streak in doubles together.
- Fellow sophomore Victoria Olivarez, who has won nine of her last ten matches, is on a four-match win streak in singles after being the lone Tennessee player to go 4-0 in singles during their opening weekend.
- Senior Joanna Henderson won her 50th career singles match last week. She has won seven of her last eight matches. She leads the team in both singles (13) and doubles (11) wins.
- Henderson and senior Caitlyn Williams are 9-2 on the season in doubles and are ranked as the No. 29 duo in the preseason ITA rankings.

- The Lady Vols are 11-5 all-time against the Michigan Wolverines, who are currently ranked as the 15th ranked team in the country.
- In Ann Arbor, Tennessee has a record of 4-4. The two teams faced off last season as the Wolverines defeated the Lady Vols 6-1.
