- Part of the novice squad
- Named to the 2012-13 C-USA Honor Roll, a honor awarded to student-athlete[apos]s maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better
- At the Conference USA Championships held on Melton Hill Lake, part of the Novice 8 'A' boat that placed fifth with a time of 7:14.88
- Rowed the Novice 4 to a first place finish against Louisville with a time of 8 minutes and 6 seconds
- Rowed in the 'A' boat at the Secret City Head Race in the novice 8 placing first with a time of 19 minutes and 27.968 seconds

- Sydney Katherine Trentham, daughter of Barbara and Brent, was born on December 29, 1993
- Her goal after college is to get into pharmacy school and become a pharmacist
- She chose to come to UT because her whole family attended Tennessee

- She studied abroad in Costa Rica through the honors program befor starting her freshman year
