- Notched an 11th place finish at the SEC Indoor Championship with a mark of 7.44m in his first collegiate competition
- Posted three top-five finishes at the Tennessee Relays as he ran a 10.57 second 100m and jumped a personal best 7.41m in the long jump before running the first leg of the 4x100m relay team which took first
- Placed third in the long jump at the Tennessee Rust Buster with a 7.33m jump
