2011 - JUNIOR
Saw action in 20 contests, starting five games behind the plate in his first year at Tennessee. Had a pair of hits in 16 at-bats, driving in two runs and recording a sacrifice bunt.
Threw out three of eight potential basestealers (37.5 percent).
Earned starting nods against South Carolina (4/9), Georgia (4/24), Mississippi State (5/7), at LSU (5/14) and Auburn (5/21).
JUNIOR COLLEGE
Helped Walters State to a 40-8 record and the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII tournament championship game in 2010, playing in 41 games as a sophomore. Hit .354 with two home runs, 30 RBIs and six stolen bases.
Saw action in 28 games as a freshman, posting a .270 batting average with a pair of longballs and 15 RBIs.
Originally signed with Tennessee Tech before joining the Senators out of high school.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Seymour High School in Seymour, Tenn., where he was coached by Scott Norman. Was an all-state, all-region and all-district honoree as a senior in 2008 after hitting .507 with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs.
Also posted a .354 batting average and six home runs as a junior for the Eagles.
