2011 - JUNIOR
Saw action in 37 games in his first year at Rocky Top, making 14 starts at three different positions (left field, right field, designated hitter). Hit .208 with one home run, four RBIs, four stolen bases and five sacrifice bunts, the second-highest total on the team.
First hit in a UT uniform came in his second start when he collected a single against Canisius on Feb. 25.
Launched a pinch-hit three-run home run, his only longball of the season, as part of a nine-run UT fifth-inning against New Orleans on March 8.
Stole four bases on the season, including two against the Privateers on March 9 and one each versus Alabama A&M (3/15) and Ole Miss (3/26).
Was a career-best 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in the final game of a four-game series against Manhattan on March 13.
JUNIOR COLLEGE
Played two seasons at Lower Columbia College where he was coached by Kelly Smith. With former Vol Levi Dean, helped lead the Red Devils to a 40-5 record and its 10th NWAACC championship in 2010.
Hit .363 with three home runs, stolen bases and 45 runs scored as a sophomore.
Was named to the NWAACC All-Tournament Team after hitting .348 with 25 RBIs as a freshman as the Red Devils posted a 35-6 record.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Kalama (Wash.) High School, where he was coached by Len Hiatt. Was a three-sport star for the Chinooks, lettering all four years in baseball, football and wrestling.
Hit over .400 in each of his last three seasons on the diamond.
Was named the 2008 All-Area MVP as a senior by The Daily News after hitting .429 with six home runs, 29 RBIs and seven stolen bases.
Also hit over .400 as a sophomore and junior after batting .389 as a freshman.
Led the Chinooks to a third-place finish in the state as a freshman and runner-up honors as a sophomore and senior.
