Outdoor- Scored for the Vols in the decathlon at the SEC Championships (5/12), totaling a personal-best 7,264 points
- Placed fourth in his first javelin throw competition of the year at the Wake Forest Invite (4/21), throwing 57.86m (189-10)
- Secured sixth in the long jump at the Tennessee Invite (4/7), leaping 6.91m (22-8)
- Opened the outdoor season in the 110-meter hurdles at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/1), racing to the finish line in 15.37 and placing ninth
