RALEIGH, N.C. – The Tennessee track & field program opens the 2026 outdoor season this week with eight distance runners slated to compete at the Raleigh Relays. The meet is set for Thursday and Friday, March 26-27, at NC State's Paul Derr Track Facility.
The men's portion of the meet is scheduled for Thursday, with Gavin Genisio and Carter Knox competing in the 1,500 meters at approximately 4:05 p.m. Ethan Edgworth, Zouhair Redouane and Nelson Mapi Setek are entered in the men's 5,000 meters, with heats beginning at approximately 6:33 p.m.
The Lady Vols will compete Friday evening, with Tula Fawbush running the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase before Andie-Marie Jones and Jaci Sievers compete in the women's 5,000 meters. Those events are currently scheduled for 5:03 p.m. and 6:12 p.m., respectively.
Live results will be provided throughout the meet by Flash Results, while portions of the meet will be streamed via ACC Network Extra.
UP NEXT: Tennessee will send a group of sprinters, hurdlers, throwers and jumpers to Gainesville, Florida, for the Pepsi Florida Relays. Competition will run Friday and Saturday, April 3-4, at the University of Florida's James G. Pressly Stadium.
