Men’s Tennis Central: Tennessee vs. Bellarmine and Eastern Kentucky
January 28, 2026 | Men's Tennis
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee men's tennis team will compete in its second doubleheader of the season, hosting Bellarmine (1 p.m. ET) and Eastern Kentucky (5 p.m. ET) on Thursday at Goodfriend Tennis Center.
A live stream will be provided for fans here, and live stats will be available here. Admission is free to fans, and tennis parking will be available on West Volunteer Boulevard and at the top of the CI7/NC7 garage located next to Barksdale Stadium.
GAINING MOMENTUM
The duo of Dragos Cazacu and Piotr Siekanowicz are gaining momentum after a few weeks of playing as a tandem. The duet has picked up two wins in a row on court one against some of the nation's best. Taking down duos from No. 3 TCU and No. 11 Texas A&M. Cazacu and Siekanowicz look to provide the spark in doubles the Vols need.
SCOUTING BELLARMINE
The Knights (0-3) have had a tough schedule, dropping a doubleheader against Auburn and a match against Ball State.
This marks the first-ever competition between Bellarmine and Tennessee in men's tennis.
SCOUTING EASTERN KENTUCKY
EKU has been extremely active to start the year with six matches already under its belt, going 2-4 in those contests. Their wins came against Bulter and IU Indianapolis, and the losses were against ETSU, Louisville (twice) and MTSU.
UT has never lost a match against the Colonels. Tennessee extended its winning streak to eleven against Eastern Kentucky back in 2017 with a 6-1 victory on Jan. 14, 2017.
