MATCH CENTRAL: Tennessee vs. Eastern Kentucky

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee soccer is set for its second regular-season contest at home, hosting Eastern Kentucky in a 1 p.m. ET match at Regal Stadium.Â
The Lady Vols are coming off the program's first ever-win over a top-ranked team as they took down No. 1 North Carolina, 2-0, in a season-opener behind Shae O'Rourke's brace.Â

Admission is free for all preseason and regular-season soccer matches. For fans planning to attend, note that Tennessee's clear bag policy will be in effect again this season. Regal Soccer Stadium will be a cashless venue for both concessions and the VolShop this season. A free shuttle will pick up fans and students at the CC4 lot on the Ag Campus. The shuttles will drop off at the top of Joan Cronan Way and Stephenson Drive. Shuttles will begin running one hour prior to kickoff and will run for one hour after the match.Â
YEAH, JOE: Tennessee soccer head coach Joe Kirt became the first head coach in program history to defeat a top-ranked team.Â
SHAE'S ROCKY TOP DEBUT: Redshirt junior Shae O'Rourke came up big in her Tennessee debut after recording two goals to guide UT to a season-opening win.Â
STRONG STUFF FROM STAYART: Redshirt senior Jenna Stayart posted her first-career multi-assist performance against UNC and played the full 90 minutes.Â
NEW FACES: Tennessee added eight newcomers over the offseason with seven field players and one goalkeeper. Five are true freshman as the other trio arrive as transfers with SEC experience.Â
BACK AGAIN:Â UT returns 15 letterwinners and nine starters from the 2024 team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.Â
STARTING WITH A STRONG SLATE: The Lady Vols are set to start their season with two top-10 matchups throughout the first three games. The season started with No. 1 North Carolina. For its third contest of the season, UT will take on No. 8 UCLA on the road.
SEC PRESEASON PLAYERS TO WATCH: Five Tennessee soccer players were named to the SEC Preseason Watchlist, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. Ally Brown, Reese Mattern, Mac Midgley, Shae O'Rourke and Anaiyah Robinson were all tabbed as players to watch this season.
