RANKINGS
Tennessee enters Week 4 ranked in all four major polls: No. 7 (NFCA), No. 7 (USASB), No. 9 (D1S) and No. 11 (SA).
SUSTAINED SUCCESS
During head coach Karen Weekly's tenure (2002-pres.), Tennessee has risen from a fledgling program in collegiate softball to a national power.
Weekly has led the Lady Vols to 20 straight NCAA Tournaments and has hosted 19 consecutive regional rounds in Knoxville. The Lady Vols have advanced to Super Regionals 13 times during her tenure and have reached the Women's College World Series eight times.
Now in her 24th season at the helm, Weekly is on the doorstep of another milestone as she looks to reach 1,100 career wins on Rocky Top. Weekly's record at Tennessee entering the weekend stands at 1,099-343-2 – just 1 win shy of 1,100.
STARTING STRONG
Tennessee is 14-3 after the first three weekends of the season. The Lady Vols have won 11 of those games by run rule and outscored opponents 141-24.
FINALLY HOME
The Big Orange return home after spending the first three weeks of the season on the road. UT started the year in Clearwater, Florida, before traveling to Lake Charles, Louisiana; Beaumont, Texas; and Cathedral City, California.
FRIENDLY CONFINES
Sherri Parker Lee Stadium has been home sweet home for the Lady Vols. Since 2021, Tennessee is 100-22 at home and has outscored opponents 789-312.
STREAKING
Two Lady Vols—Taylor Pannell and Kinsey Fiedler—have reached base safely in 16 consecutive games. Additionally, Pannell is riding a five-game hit streak entering the weekend.
McKenna Gibson has carried over her hit and reached-base streaks from last season and enters the weekend riding a 14-game hitting streak and a 15-game reached-base streak.
