Track Central: 2025 SEC Indoor Championships

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Indoor postseason gets underway this weekend for Tennessee track & field as more than 40 UT athletes have traveled to Bryan-College Station, Texas, for the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships. The conference meet runs Thursday, Feb. 27, through Saturday, March 1, at Texas A&M's R.A. 'Murray' Fasken Indoor Track & Field Facility.
The men's pole vault squad kicks off the field events for UT at 5 p.m. ET Thursday, while Tennessee's running events start at 6 p.m. with the men's 200-meter prelims.
Friday's action begins at noon ET with freshman Aidan Ifkovits making his SEC debut in the men's weight throw. Running events start at 5 p.m. with a trio of Vols in the men's mile prelims.
Day three commences with the men's shot put at 4 p.m. ET. Running finals on the track start at approximately 5:05 p.m. with the men's mile final and conclude with the women's 4x400-meter relay at 8 p.m.
