LEXINGTON, Ky. — Thirty-eight Tennessee track & field athletes have made the trip to Lexington, Kentucky, to begin NCAA postseason action at the East Preliminary Rounds this week. The four-day regional competition is set for Wednesday, May 22, through Saturday, May 25, at the University of Kentucky Track & Field Complex.

The Big Orange will have 46 entries at the meet, competing in 25 events over the course of the competition. The top-12 finishers in each event will advance to the NCAA National Championships, set for June 5-8 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Streaming coverage will begin each day with running events on the track, starting at 6 p.m. ET Wednesday and Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Live results will be provided throughout the meet by Flash Results Inc.

RANKED VOLS: In the latest installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Rating Index, the women of Tennessee checked in at No. 10 while the Vols were slotted No. 12. UT is one of seven schools in the country to have both squads rated inside the top 12 nationally.

UP NEXT: The top-12 finishers in each event at the NCAA East Prelims will advance to the NCAA Division I National Championships, which will be held June 5-8 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
