ORLANDO, Fla. – After advancing past the quarterfinal round for the first time since 2010, the No. 3 Tennessee men's tennis team gets set to take on No. 2 Baylor for Friday afternoon's first NCAA semifinal. First serve from the USTA National Campus is slated for 2 p.m. ET on the Tennis One App.

The remainder of the NCAA Championships—including next week's singles and doubles championships—will feature full fan attendance and tickets for the rest of the event can be found HERE.
LAST TIME OUT
Last time out, the Vols raced past No. 11 Georgia, 4-1, in Thursday's quarterfinal round.
After dropping the doubles points, the Vols used a trio of straight-set victories from senior Adam Walton, freshman Johannus Monday and senior Andrew Rogers in quick succession, before graduate student Luca Wiedenmann clinched match point with a come-from-behind three-set victory over Georgia's Blake Croyder.
The win was the Vols fourth of 2021 when dropping the doubles point. It was just the sixth time the Vols have not won the doubles point to open a match this season.
SCOUTING BAYLOR
Friday will be the ninth meeting between the Vols and Bears all-time in a series dating to 1984 and will be the first meeting between the programs since 2012 in what was a 4-3 victory for the Vols in Knoxville.
Baylor enters Friday's matchup as the Big 12 Tournament Champions and hold a 33-4 record that features the most wins of any program in the country.
The Bears hold an impressive resume that features a trip to the ITA Indoor Nationals Final against North Carolina and thus far in the NCAA Tournament, they have conceded just two points across four matches.
In the latest ITA Rankings Baylor has a pair of singles players ranked, along with two doubles teams.
In singles, Baylor is led by No. 11 Matias Soto and No. 21 Adrian Boitan and in doubles the Bears top duo of Sven Lah and Constantine Frantzen are ranked ninth, while their tandem of Matias Soto and Nick Stachowiak is ranked 75th.
Friday's match will also be Baylor's first trip to the final four since 2015, when they fell to eventual national champions, Virginia.
