Women’s Tennis Central: No. 25 Mississippi State/Ole Miss

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The 20th-ranked Tennessee women's tennis team heads to Mississippi to take on No. 25-ranked Mississippi State and Ole Miss to close out the month of February.
UT (6-3, 0-1 SEC) takes on Mississippi State (8-2, 0-2 SEC) on Friday at 4 p.m. ET in Starkville, Mississippi.
The Lady Vols then close the weekend with a 2 p.m. ET dual with Ole Miss (5-3, 1-1) in Oxford, Mississippi.

In the Series: UT holds a 37-10 mark all-time over Mississippi State including a 15-7 record in Starkville.
Against Ole Miss, the Lady Vols are 28-21all-time. UT has won their last two matches against UM.
Last Time Out: The Lady Vols fell to Georgia, 4-0.
Instant Impact: Junior Daria Kuczer has been imperative to UT's 6-3 start to the 2021 dual-match season. The transfer by way of Pepperdine has yet to drop a singles match in nine duals and rides a season-long seven match winning streak heading to The Magnolia State.
Kuczer has collected solo wins on courts three thru six this season and holds a 7-0 record in dual-match play. She is 13-5 including the fall. In solo play, The Szczecin, Poland native is expected to appear on court five this weekend.
In doubles play with freshman Esther Adeshina, the newcomer duo holds a 7-2 dual match record and is 8-4 this season. The duo is expected to appear on court one this weekend.
Callie's Climb: Sophomore Callie Creath has found success in the 2021 dual-match season. After competing in just four dual matches in 2020, the Austin, Texas native has recorded a 6-1 dual-match record in 2021 including a pair of career-long three-match winning streaks.
