Women’s Tennis Central: June Stewart Invitational
October 29, 2020 | Women's Tennis
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – On Friday, the Tennessee women's tennis team opens the three-day June Stewart Invitational hosted by Vanderbilt. Along with the Commodores, UT faces SEC foes Kentucky and Auburn at the Currey Tennis Center.
"First and foremost, we are thankful that we are going into the final tournament," head coach Alison Ojeda said. "A month ago, Jarryd (Chaplin) and I both said if we make it through these three events with everything going on with COVID it will be incredible and that is exactly what has happened.
"I really want to make sure that we take advantage of our offensive opportunities this coming weekend and as long as we do that, I will say that we had a good, productive fall and we have something very clear to work on for the next two months before our first competition."
