Tennessee Splits Up for Princeton, Milwaukee and Columbia this Weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee men's tennis program will head separate ways this weekend, with entries competing at the Princeton Farnsworth-Ivy Plus, the 44th annual Milwaukee Classic and the Gamecock Fall Invitational. The Farnsworth-Ivy Plus and Gamecock Fall Invitational run Sept. 20-22 with the Milwaukee Classic running Sept. 20-23.
PRINCETON IVY-PLUS
Jordan Chrysostom, Giles Hussey, Scott Jones, Mason Meier and Finn Stodder will represent UT at the Farnsworth-Ivy Plus, hosted by Princeton University. The tournament features 80 players over five 16-player draws and five doubles draws with eight pairs each.
Friday will include two rounds of doubles beginning at 9 a.m. ET and one round of singles beginning at noon. Saturday will have two rounds of singles play starting at 9 a.m. while Sunday will feature one doubles round and one singles round.
MILWAUKEE CLASSIC
Pat Harper, Martim Prata, Mark Wallner and Luca Wiedenmann travel to Milwaukee for the 44th annual Milwaukee Classic. The tournament includes a 64-man singles bracket and a 32-team doubles draw.
Former Tennessee champions of this event include current UT head coach Chris Woodruff, former Vols Paul Annacone and Mark Parsons. Harper's older brother Mitch Harper won the event while playing for Virginia Tech. Last season, Wiedenmann and Preston Touliatos partnered to reach the doubles finals in Milwaukee.
This is an ITA gold level national intercollegiate tournament and will run Friday to Monday, Sept. 20-23. More information on the event can be found at https://www.milwaukeetennisclassic.org/.
GAMECOCK FALL INVITATIONAL
Andrew Rogers and Adam Walton will represent the Big Orange in Columbia, S.C. for the Gamecock Fall Invitational. The tournament will field three singles and three doubles draws.
Walton is coming off a very successful open to his fall season at the M15 Champaign Futures where he advanced to the singles final in the main draw. This will mark Rogers' first tournament of the fall season.
