Softball Set to Play 13 Nationally Televised Games

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Tennessee softball program will have 13 games featured on national television during the 2019 season according to the broadcast schedule released by the Southeastern Conference.
The 13 games are in addition to Tennessee's two games that will be televised in the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational on Feb. 15 vs. Notre Dame (ESPNU) and Feb. 17 against Florida State (ESPN2).
The network's Bases Loaded coverage during the last weekend of conference play will bounce around to show live portions from all games featuring SEC teams on Sunday, May 5.
Seven of the Lady Vols' 13 televised games will be home contests at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. Five of Tennessee's televised games will be shown on the SEC Network, including matchups with Arkansas (March 23), Auburn (April 7-8) and Texas A&M (May 3 and May 5). The Big Orange will also be featured on ESPNU in matchups with Arkansas (March 22 and March 24).
While on the road, UT's games against Florida (March 10), Missouri (March 31-April1) and Georgia (April 20) will be televised on SEC Network. The Lady Vols' April 21 contest at Georgia will be viewable on ESPN2 while Tennessee's April 28 game versus Ole Miss will be viewable on ESPNU.
On top of the regular-season games being televised, the entire SEC Tournament (May 8-11) will also be shown live on SEC Network or ESPN platforms. All first round and quarterfinal games will be broadcast on SEC Network while the semifinal games will air on ESPNU and the championship game will be featured on ESPN2.
