Wiedenmann, Touliatos Go Unbeaten Saturday at ITA All-American Pre-Qualifying

TULSA, Okla. -- Tennessee's Luca Wiedenmann and Preston Touliatos kicked off the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships with a couple of singles victories in pre-qualifying Saturday at the Case Tennis Center.
Wiedenmann (Munich, Germany) advanced to the Round of 64 with a pair of straight-set singles victories Saturday. The Tennessee junior opened up with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over South Alabama's Samuel Serrano before dropping Miami's Dane Dunlap 6-2, 6-2 in a rematch from the Crimson Tide Four-in-the-Fall Championships earlier this month.

Touliatos (Birmingham, Ala.) also earned back-to-back singles wins in straight sets to move on to the Round of 64. The redshirt senior took care of Matej Svjetlicic (Western Michigan) 7-6(6), 6-1 and went on to defeat Cem Erturk (Fresno State) 6-1, 6-2.
Pat Harper (Brisbane, Australia) made his ITA All-American debut, falling to Murkel Dellien (Wichita State) 6-3, 6-1. The Tennessee rookie will next compete in the Pre-Qualifying consolation bracket.
