KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --- The 19th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers return home for an SEC matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Regal Soccer Stadium.

Admission and parking for all matches at Regal Soccer Stadium is free of charge. Gates will open at 2 p.m., and fans should be reminded that UT's clear bag policy will be in effect.

Sunday's matchup will be televised on SEC Network, with Drew Fellios and former Notre Dame/U.S. Women's National Team standout Kate Markgraf on the call. An online version of the broadcast can be found at this link, while live stats will be provided via SIDEARM Stats.

Tennessee Soccer will give away checkerboard jersey t-shirts to the 500 fans in attendance on Sunday. Other gameday promotions include 'Soccer Sundae' – the first 100 kids in the gate will receive a voucher for a scoop of ice cream and access to a toppings bar. UT Fan Experience will also be putting on a free Kids' Corner prior to the match.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vols (7-1-1, 1-1 SEC) picked up a road win in Oxford, Miss., topping the Ole Miss Rebels 2-0 Thursday night. Senior strikers Bunny Shaw (22') and Meghan Flynn (87') recorded goals for UT while Shae Yanez logged her fifth solo shutout with a season-high six saves.

MOVIN' ON UP: Following the 2-0 result at Ole Miss, senior keeper Shae Yanez moved into fourth place in Tennessee Soccer history with her 16th career solo shutout. The Downingtown, Pa. native also bumped up to seventh in career saves (143) among UT goalkeepers.

YOU GET A GOAL, & YOU GET A GOAL: Meghan Flynn became the 12th Vol to score a goal this season Thursday night at Ole Miss. UT's 12 goal-scorers tie No. 9 Auburn, Alabama and No. 2 Texas A&M for the most in the SEC this season.

SERIES HISTORY: Tennessee has dominated the all-time series with a 15-2-1 record against Mississippi State since 1996. The two programs last faced each other in 2016, when the Vols topped the Bulldogs 3-0 behind goals from Meghan Flynn, Rylie O'Keefe and Vol alumna Carlyn Baldwin.

SCOUTING MISSISSIPPI STATE: The Bulldogs are 8-1-0 under second-year head coach Tom Anagnost, with their lone loss coming in SEC play at No. 9 Auburn. In the first release of the NCAA RPI (through games Sept. 16), Mississippi State was rated second among 333 Division I programs.

The MSU attack is headed by freshman midfielder Zakirah McGillivary and junior forward MaKayla Waldner, who have each connected on six goals this season. Veteran keeper Rhylee DeCrane has logged 805 minutes between the posts, allowing five goals in 2018 for a 0.56 GAA to go along with 23 saves.
