KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The 10th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers wrap up a three-match homestand Sunday, Sept. 2 with a cross-system matchup with the UT Martin Skyhawks. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Regal Soccer Stadium.
Admission and parking for all matches at Regal Soccer Stadium is free of charge. Gates will open at 1 p.m., and fans should be reminded that UT's clear bag policy will be in effect.
The match will be streamed live on SEC Network , available online and through the WatchESPN app. Live stats will be provided via SIDEARM Stats.
Gameday promotions include 'Soccer Sundae' – the first 100 kids in the gate will receive a voucher for a scoop of ice cream and access to a toppings bar. UT Fan Experience will also be putting on a free Kids' Corner prior to the match.
LAST TIME OUT: The Vols (4-0-1) logged their fourth-straight home shutout with a 2-0 victory over Wright State Thursday night. Sophomore defender Paige Franks and freshman forward Brice McInroy each connected on the first goals of their collegiate careers in the win.
Tennessee outshot Wright State 29-3 for the match. The 26 shot differential was the highest for UT since Oct. 2, 2016 (32-6 vs. Indiana State).
SHAE SHUTOUTS: UT goalkeeper Shae Yanez logged the third solo shutout of her senior campaign against Wright State. The Downingtown, Pa. native has recorded 356 consecutive minutes of scoreless goalkeeping in home matches and currently ranks second in the SEC with a 0.19 goals-against average overall.
TOP-10, TOP-10: Tennessee was tabbed 10th in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches national poll. This mark UT's highest ranking in the poll since Oct. 30, 2007 when the Vols were chosen 9th.
PERFECT AT HOME: The Vols own an unblemished 4-0-0 ledger at home and have yet to surrender a goal this season at Regal Soccer Stadium. UT's backline has allowed just four shots on goal to visiting opponents, while the Tennessee offense is outshooting visitors 79-20 at their home venue this season.
SERIES HISTORY: Sunday's matchup will be the first regular-season contest between the Vols and the Skyhawks. UT holds a 5-1-0 record against current members of the Ohio Valley Conference.
