KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Senior shortstop Megan Gregg hit a solo home run over the left-field wall in the first inning to become Tennessee's all-time home run leader at 52, passing former Lady Vols great Tonya Callahan Friday night in a 4-2 win over LSU at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
Â
Tennessee (35-6 | 6-7 SEC) got on the board first on in the first with Gregg's solo home run.
Â
The Lady Vols would add two more runs in the bottom of the fourth when Chelsea Seggern hit a two-run home run to right-center field to score Gregg.
Â
UT would add a run in the sixth when Aubrey Leach singled to the shortstop to score Sheridan Allen to give the Big Orange a 4-0 lead.
