KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee welcomes three in-state rivals to Lindsey Nelson Stadium this weekend for the 2018 Tri-Star Classic.

The Vols will host ETSU, Memphis and Middle Tennessee for a tournament that was originally scheduled to be played up the road at Smokies Stadium but was moved to Lindsey Nelson due to extensive field repairs at Smokies Stadium. The full tournament schedule is listed below.

Tennessee wraps up its 14-game homestand to start the season with a pair of midweek games against James Madison on Tuesday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 7. First pitch for both games is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and both contests will feature an online stream via SEC Network + (WatchESPN).
Ticket Information
All tickets bought through the Tennessee Smokies will be honored at the main gate of Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Tennessee Volunteers baseball season ticket holders can pick up complimentary tickets at the front of the stadium as long as they have identification. All seating will be general admission with the lower chair back seating areas held for Smokies ticket buyers and UT season ticket holders.
General admission tickets can also be purchased at the baseball ticket office or online at AllVols.com for $10 per day. Any tickets purchased online must be printed by the buyer before coming to the stadium.
UT students and students from any other participating schools may enter for free with their student ID and sit in any general admission areas except for the lower chair back seats.
Any ticket questions can be directed to the Tennessee Smokies ticket office (865-286-2300) or the Tennessee Athletics ticket office (865-656-1200).
Parking Information
Free baseball parking will be located in Lots GF1, GF2, GF3 and GF4. Free parking will also available in the G16 garage on Friday and Sunday. The G16 garage will charge for parking beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Additional parking is located on the street along Todd Helton Drive. Handicap parking is located in marked handicap spaces on Pat Head Summitt Drive and G16 Garage.
There will be a number of other events happening on Tennessee's campus throughout the weekend so parking may be limited, especially on Saturday. We encourage all fans to arrive early.

Clear Bag Policy
In order to enhance safety and expedite fan entry at Tennessee athletic events, UT has implemented a clear bag policy at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and all other athletic facilities. Only one clear bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches (gallon size) per person is permitted. Fans are also allowed a small clutch purse not exceeding 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
Stadium Entry
Please be aware that gates will not open until 90 minutes prior to game time as opposed to two hours like it has been in years past.

Need to Know
- Tennessee enters this weekends tournament coming off a pair of midweek victories over Middle Tennessee (5-4) and Arkansas Pine Bluff (9-1).
- After losing their first two games of the season, the Vols have now won six of their last seven and have outscored their opponents 51-25 in that span.
- Sophomore shortstop Andre Lipcius is off to a great start to the year after earning Freshman All-America and Freshman All-SEC honors a year ago. The Williamsburg, Va., native leads the team in batting average (.344), hits (11) and RBI (14). His 14 RBI are tied for third in the SEC.
- The Vols started five freshmen and had eight see the field in Wednesday's 9-1 win over Arkansas Pine Bluff. Evan Russell and Brandon Trammell recorded their first-career starts.
- Freshman Zach Daniels bounced back from a rough start in UT's season-opening series with a couple of huge performances last week. He led the team in batting average, hits, runs, home runs, RBI, total bases, slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
- Daniels' first-career hit was a grand slam that proved to be the difference in last Tuesday's 8-5 win over Lipscomb. He became the first UT freshman to hit a grand slam since former All-American Nick Senzel in 2014.
- During the Vols' weekend series against UNC Greensboro, Daniels batted .364 with a pair of home runs to up his season total to three, which leads the team. He also had back-to-back multi-hit games on Saturday and Sunday. Since starting the season 0-for-11, Daniels is 6-of-19Â with three homers, six runs scored and seven RBI.
- Fellow freshman Wyatt Stapp also continued to impress, batting .357 on the week while scoring two runs and driving in four. He currently ranks second on the team with a .333 batting average and leads the Vols with a .474 on-base percentage.
- Sophomore leadoff man Jay Charleston is a perfect 6-for-6 on stolen bases this season, which ranks tied for second in the SEC.
- Sophomore reliever Will Heflin earned his second win of the season and set career highs in innings pitch (4.0) and strikeouts (six) in Tuesday's 5-4 victory over Middle Tennessee.
- Freshman RHP Sean Hunley earned his first-career win in Wednesday's victory over Arkansas Pine Bluff after scattering four hits over 4.2 scoreless innings.
