KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee volleyball team will make their final road trip of the season when they head to the state of Alabama to face off against the Auburn Tigers on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET at Auburn Arena and then at Alabama on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET.

The Lady Vols (11-11, 4-9 SEC) are coming off a tough home loss to the No. 4 ranked Florida Gators, but they are looking to get back to their winning ways when they hit the road against the Auburn Tigers (13-8, 6-6 SEC).

FINAL ROAD TRIP

Tennessee will embark on its final road trip of the season when the program heads to the state of Alabama to face Auburn and Alabama.
The Lady Vols are 2-6 in true road matches this season. The two wins came against Georgia and LSU.
Individual highs in road matches this year include: kills (16 –Buss/Andreno), assists (37 – Hansen), digs (26 – Schumacher), blocks (8 – Andreno) and aces (2 – Treiber)

LAST WEEK

Tennessee went 0-2 at home last week, falling to South Carolina 3-1 and then to No. 4 Florida 3-0.
Sedona Hansen recorded double-doubles in both matches over the weekend to make it 13 on the season. She finished the week with 33 assists and 30 digs. For the week, she averaged 4.71 a/s and 4.29 d/s.
Erica Treiber paced the Lady Vols last week with 17 kills and averaged 2.43 k/s and hit a .267 percentage.
Brooke Schumacher finished the week with 40 digs and averaged 5.71 digs per set.

Last Match: Erica Treiber tallied a team-best 16 kills and Hansen added a career-best 27 digs but Tennessee couldn't close out the Auburn Tigers in a 3-2 loss at home.

FAMILY TIES

Madison Coulter's grandfather, Kenny Coulter, also was a student-athlete at Tennessee. Kenny lettered three years as a guard on the Tennessee basketball team from 1956-59. The Maryville, Tennessee, native was the Vols' second-leading scorer as a senior in 1958-59, averaging 14.0 ppg. A former college basketball official, Kenny now works as an officials' observer at UT home games. Madison is averaging 0.95 kills per set and is hitting .138 with 75 kills on the season. Madison has started the last six matches for Tennessee.
Breana Jeter is the younger sister of former Lady Vol Kayla Jeter, who played for UT from 2008-14 as an outside hitter. Kayla finished her career at Tennessee with a .262 hitting percentage and 934 kills and 229 blocks. Breana has a current hitting percentage of .180 and averages 1.95 kills per set with 96 kills on the season.
Callie Williams is the daughter of a volleyball coach Jason Williams (assistant at Baylor) and a volleyball All-American in Cory Williams. Cory (Sivertson) Williams played volleyball at Baylor where she is the only volleyball player to be inducted into the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. Callie, a setter like her mom, has 375 assists this season averaging 4.57 assist per set.
Sedona Hansen is the daughter of a two-time WCWS National Champion Lisa Guise-Hansen. Lisa, was an infielder and outfielder from 1990-93, helping lead Arizona to a Women's College World Series National Championships in 1991 and 1993. She hit .230 in her career with 10 doubles and 59 RBI.
